Stop the violence, Spread love!
"Kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan," Jose Rizal onced said. Children should be cherished and feel the love that they deserve. Unfortunately, some kids are subjected to violence such as physical abuse, neglect, and bullying. These may significantly affect their well-being and have dangerous consequences like self-harm or even suicide. Exposure to violence may hinder a child's education and damage his/her mental health. To address this, strengthen the measures that already are in place, and spread awareness to protect these innocent children.
Child labor is the most pressing casualty of the effects of violence, which must stop now. Laws such as the Republic Act No. 7610 or the "Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act," and Republic Act No. 9231, which focuses on eliminating the worst forms of child labor, have been put in place for children's rights to be ensured.
However, that is not only the government's role; rather, it requires each individual to do this part. Simple acts of kindness-a smile, offering a helping hand-can bring positive changes. These very small gestures might seem minor but can provide a big difference to the life of a child.
In conclusion, we can do so much to stop violence and spread love to the children. It can be done through active involvement in community programs or just creating a positive environment. Of course, our efforts will lead to a safe, valued, and loved child today and in the future.
